HELLO, HOWDY, HI

Nic Nightingale is a comedian, actor, writer, and self-proclaimed "really nice guy."

 

Originally from Greenwood, Indiana, he’s been making people laugh since the age of 5, when he stripped in the

middle of the kitchen while singing "Macho Man" atop a stepstool stage (yes, that is true).​

He has done lots of "cool sh*t" ever since (his words).

 

Recently, Nic was a mainstage performer onboard Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Destiny,  where he created an orginal character, Doc Gamble,  and performed in over 10 different sketch,  improv, and atmosphere shows written and directed by Benjamin Schrader and Jen Bascom. He spent 2 years with Virgin Voyages as the emcee of “It’s A Ship Show,” a circus and comedy variety show, and as the resident host of “LOLz Comedy Club”, a role he originated. He also worked for Disney at its parks in Orlando, Florida, and Tokyo, Japan.

Nic has performed regionally, at the West Virginia Public Theatre and recently at the Beef and Boards Theatre, where he starred in The Play That Goes Wrong as Chris Bean, where his performance received great reviews:

He has trained and performed with The Second City, iO Chicago, UCB, and ComedySportz, among other comedy theatres. He was an ensemble member at the Revival Improv Theatre in Chicago, and Nic has written and performed in many sketch revues with his teams "Secret Family", "Season One", and "Home Safe Comedy" at The Annoyance, The Den, and The Second City. As a Stand-Up comedian, Nic has performed for Don't Tell Comedy, opened for SNL's Melissa Villasenor and HBO's Atsuko Okatsuka, and also bombed at many open mics (he's got range).

Nic produces a weekly Instagram parody news show, "Nightingale@Night". In the style of SNL's Weekend Update, or a Late-Night monologue, Nic writes, edits, and produces a 2-minute reel of the week's most noteworthy news stories. You should watch them; they are very good (his words). Nic's dream is to be a cast member on SNL or a writer on a Late-Night show.

 

What else? What else? ​He also sings. He can move. He can walk on stilts.

He can sort of juggle. He is a pleasure to have in class.
